How to handle hierarchy items group and team in a small project

Hi all,

I am using nextcloud for the first time and am trying to set up a small collaboration project of 4 users. Needed features are:

  • Shared data
  • Shared deck
  • Shared calendar

What I did is:

  • create one admin user
  • create 4 users (including myself)
  • create a group under the admin user and included the 4 users
  • create a team-folder under the admin user by the according app and assigned it to the group (works fine)
  • create a deck under my user and shared it with the group (works fine)
  • create a calendar under my user and shared it with the group (not ok, calendar was not visible for group members)
  • create a team under my user and made the group the only member
  • shared the calendar with the team (works fine, calendar is visible for team-members)
  • create a meeting and invited team (not ok, calendar was not visible for team-members)
  • invites team-members personally (works fine)

My questions are:

  • Is there some smarter way to handle shared items?
  • What kind of cluster-item can I use to invite all users? Maybe a contact-list will fit, but that would be private item. I might share it with the group or the team, but all that somehow feels like being trapped in a fractal word of clustering layers…

Thx in advance
Thomas.
