How to customize rights to shared calendars

Hello,

I have an instance of Nextcloud, everything works well.

But, I want to customize the rights on shared calendars. In fact, when I share a calendar with other people with modification rights, they can do what they want.

However, I want when a people reserves a time slot, only it can modify this reservation. If an other people want modify this reservation, he can’t do it.

Do you think it’s possible with Nextcloud and Calendar App ?

Currently, this is not possible. The file-access-control can do such time-dependend access control for files but not the calendar. Not sure if it would be better to make reservations in a dedicated app (can still be as a caldav-calender). But nice idea for business users (room reservation etc.).

@georgehrke @jospoortvliet anything planned in this direction?

Ok, I hope this feature could be integrated one day one the calendar app, it will be very useful for the resource management.

It seems a sensible feature for the Calendar access rights. I would actually bet that Georg already wants to do this - just a matter of time to get to it.
