how to copy url in easy way

Hello, good time. I’m having trouble using NextCloud and I don’t know if there is a way to make it easier for me to copy the links?? Now, for 10 files in a folder, you have to share those files 10 times, and the path of all those files is also different. Is there a way to make this system easier, for example, what we do with FTP software??

i want something like this

/public_html/Series/Top100/Game.Of.Thrones/S06/720/Game.of.Thrones.S06E01.720p.BluRay.PaHe.FilmChee.mkv

/public_html/Series/Top100/Game.Of.Thrones/S06/720/Game.of.Thrones.S06E02.720p.BluRay.PaHe.FilmChee.mkv

/public_html/Series/Top100/Game.Of.Thrones/S06/720/Game.of.Thrones.S06E03.720p.BluRay.PaHe.FilmChee.mkv

in this this way all files have same address only name of file is different but in next cloud at the same folder i cant do it easly i must be share all file one by one and all file have a difftrent file

hello @Saadi_Parsia welcome to the forum :handshake:

I didn’t test but if you share a folder (the share will be something like https://cloud.mydomain.tld/s/abcdef1234/) and place files in this folder I would expect you can access individual files using share + filename suffix.

But from design Nextcloud is not build to act as a anonymous content sharing - you can build such a system easier with any webserver… and please don’t abuse the software for illegal stuff - use M$ software for do evil things

i try this but didn’t work and im so confused to sharing system of nextcloud . i use hosts via ftp for years and now i want to use new version of hosts like next cloud and it is so confused me to do easiest things like copy url

thank you for your advice but there is to subject about sharing something with someone . at the first in that country we live no copyright rules for anything and its so bad thing . at the second subject this files only access for limited People

Yeah, but Hetzner, which is based in countries with relatively strict copyright laws, might not be so happy about it. Besides, posting links to pirated media in a public forum is not what I would call “only access for limited People”

To your actual question:

You can find the direct download link for a share by opening the share link and then clicking on the “three dots” menu at the top right, and no I’m not aware of any easier way, unfortunately.

However, you should also bear in mind that Nextcloud is not primarily designed to be a media server or a content delivery or download platform, for which I suggest you either use something like Plex or Jellyfin, or if you just want to deliver the files, it could be as simple as spinning up a web server and uploading the files via FTP, as @wwe has already pointed out,

Kind of like described in this enhancement discussion?

Is it possible to change the same service that I got from Hetzner to a web server that allows the use of FTP or not?? Or do you know a place that has a reasonable price for a web server?? Thank you very much for your guidance and I will clean up the post. As for how to download from the above three-dot copying option, the problem here is that in this method, the path of each file will be different, although if the download button in the desired folder worked correctly and there was no need to go to a new Tab in the browser and use 3 dots, the difference in paths could still be ignored
