How to add custom fields for personal information

Nextcloud version (eg, 12.0.2): 18.0.1
PHP version (eg, 7.1): 7.2.24

We’d like to add some custom fields to the personal information page of each user. Those fields should include information such as bank account and address. They should be only accessible by the user himself and the admins. I’ve seen other NextCloud pages with additional fields, but I can’t find the option to enable them. We only have fullname and email address so far.

[Suggestion] Adding custom attributes to contacts (programatically)

DISCLAIMER: The Contacts app may have changed since I maintained it. Storing the attribute for linking it to a userprofile in the VCard is not recommended. All attributes are saved losslessly when importing or adding a contact, so a user could create a specially crafted VCard and get access to other contacts in the database table. An other way would be to somehow expose the actual ID in the database (of course without exposing it to the user) and link contact and user profile that way.

but look like supported now as:
contacts

so try using .csv,or choose one of the contact and filling what you want of info then export it and use it as template,or (not sure) by making it accessible to the users to filling there information.

if no thing of above useful for you then try to adding it manually (programing) or contact for special support .

I wouldn’t mind adding it manually by writing some code. But unfortunately I haven’t figured out yet how to easily add some custom code … Would you be able to tell me how to get there?
