I want to add additional fields for document signing in LibreSign, such as date, passport number, or other text fields.
According to the LibreSign API documentation, this should be possible. I successfully added a date field via API (POST /signature/elements), and the API confirmed that the field was created. However, I don’t see the field anywhere in the Nextcloud interface.
Is this feature not supported in the UI, or do I need to enable something in the settings to make these fields visible in the document signing process?
I have the same question. The basic functionality of LibreSign works fine, but I can’t find clear instructions to enable / make work advanced options like requiring an ID or filling out extra fields…
If the function does not exist, it may be worth creating a feature request on GitHub. As far as I can see, the app is maintained by LibreSign and not Nextcloud
I found out that it’s not possible with LibreSign, while Documenso offers more options to customize the signing process. But we are not using it now. I tested it, and it worked well
Did you end up switching to Documenso? I’m also looking at OpenSign. With the release of Nextcloud 32, Libresign is no longer working. Is there typically a lag between a Nextcloud release and a LibreSign update?
