How can I overtake my nextcloud setup to another network?

Support intro

I’m currently faced with the problem, that I I want to move my Nextcloudpi setup to another network, but I don’t know how exactly.

I already tried to find the IP address on my new router, but it didn’t showed up.

Do I have to change settings before I move it?

Nextcloud version (eg, 20.0.12):
Nextcloudpi version (v1.38.5)
Operating system and version (Debian/Linux 10 - Buster):
PHP version (7.3)

Is this the first time you’ve seen this error? (Y/N): Yes

Steps to replicate it:

  1. Remove Hardware (Raspberry Pi 4B from old network)
  2. Add Hardware (Raspberry Pi 4B) via LAN to the new network
  3. device (ip address) is not displayed in the network manager on the router

Thanks in advance for the help.

Has your rpi a static IP address?
If not give your rpi one in the old network. The rpi should keep it and you should find it in the new network.

If this doesn’t work I would check the dhcp settings on the new router
