How can I copy the link and the auto-generated password together to the clipboard with files sharing app?
If this is impossible, can I develop it myself?
If you use the “cryptographic” link and a password on one communication way (e.g. e-mail to someone) then you can because of security reason also miss the password. It makes no sense. A password for a public link is only useful if you use different communition ways e.g. e-mail and sms or WhatsApp.
Alternative you can create an Issue. Perhaps Nextcloud can create public links in the length of public links added with the length of passwords.
E.g. in instead of
/s/8kx7SbfPTj4T2gG and password Onaoj6sh
then
/s/8kx7SbfPTj4T2gGOnaoj6sh
This is because of security reason the same if you communicate url and passoword on the same way e.g. e-mail in one or two cut-and-pastes.
Do you separate url and password because of security reason?
