Hot to Delete Files on the server

I have an Android Client and a server on Home PC.

Current Usage:

  1. All the pictures from my mobile is being synced to the server and saved there automatically. (Specific folders have been synced)

Expected Usage:

  1. Sync all the files as mentioned in 1 above - Perfectly working
  2. Delete old pictures / files from the mobile phone to free up space. AS on date if one deletes the files from the mobile, the file from the server is also deleted. Need a way to only delete files from the mobile and not from the server. (Want to use Nextcloud as a backup server)

Please advice what options to change.

Nextcloud is no backup server.

Look at your not specified Android Client.

Nextcloud Server Version: 30.0.6
Android Client Version: 3.31.1

Use Android Client from F-Droid-App store instead of Googles App Store or use FolderSync as replacement for Android Client.
