I’ve tried running V0.0.11 on an Honor View 20 and Honor View 30.
In both cases the battery life if very much shorter when the app is running. I suspect that it does not help that the Honor’s are so aggressive on battery intensive apps, but I have disabled auto-management for this app.
I’ve also increased the minimum values for time, distance and accuracy to reduce the number of reported points but this does not look to have helped.
Given how Google are reported to be polling the devices position every 30 seconds the excess battery usage is not expected.
Does anyone have any tips to reduce the power overhead for PhoneTrack?
