I’ve installed Nextcloud Desktop on Linux Mint. It syncs an ssd-disk mounted on home/user with a Shadow Cloud account. It works fine but the sync icon is grayed out and reports following:
- Nextcloud: Disconnected from theses accounts
- Account @: Network error
- Protocol ““ is unknown
Anyone know what this means?
- Cloud Server: Shadow.tech
- Operating system: don’t know
- Web server and version: don’t know
- Reverse proxy and version: don’t know
- PHP version (e.g, 8.3): don’t know
- Is this the first time you’ve seen this error?: yes
- When did this problem seem to first start?: from start
- Installation method: flatpacket
- Are you using Cloudflare, mod_security, or similar? ( No)
- On local side: Nextcloud sync on Windows working fine. Nexcloud on my Linux works fine - apart from above mentioned error message.

Problem was an incorrect entered cloud account.
