Get rigd of legacy-support-mode of password-app

Hi!

Im running NextCloud 30.0.2 (debian, php 8.1.30) and Passwords (Legacy Support Release), Version 2024.11.10.

I have been wondering for a long time how to get the password plug-in onto the regular version. Because the legacy version is always installed, I always lag behind and there are periods of a few days when I can’t use Passwords until a new legacy version has been released.

Any ideas and tips out there?

What do you mean with that? Both versions of the app are released at the same time. The app also should not just stop working when it’s not the latest version.

Update PHP to a version with active support by the PHP community. These are currently 8.2, 8.3 & 8.4 but 8.2 will be security fixes only starting in january.
