Does anybody know a (simple tree) viewer for GEDCOM files?

I use Gramps on Windows (Linux and macOS versions available) and GEDexplorer on Android (iOS version available).

(I have added .ged to Nextcloud so I can view and edit the files in the text editor, but that’s not what I’m looking for.)

I use GenealogyJ for editing GEDCOM files. it’s a decent client-side editor and does have a tree view. It runs on all the major operating systems including GNU/Linux.

I would love to be able to sync contact birthdays to/from GEDCOM and contacts in Nextcloud.
