Gallery+ show all shared folders

I have 7 shared folders (external CIFS) of which only 1 contains photos. I have put .nomedia file in all the other folders in the root. When I am in the home folder (showing all 7 shares) and switch to Gallery+ it still shows all 7 shares and also starts creating thumbnails for all of them. Some contain other images, but those I don’t really care about for Gallery+. Is there something I am missing.

Also when checking with occ I don’t see the gallery options.

And you expect that these folders with .nomedia are not shown at all? Not sure if this applies only for scanning the folders.

@oparoz

I think that rings a bell. Something to do with CIFS shares not reading files starting with a dot.

Can you see the .nomedia files on the Files side?

You are correct, I don’t see the .nomedia file on the files side.
