Gallery app to show PDFs?

Is it possible to configure the Gallery app in NextCloud 13 so that it’ll also display PDF files too?

We’re a printers, you see. So PDF is one of the primary file formats we use to maintain print quality.

The Gallery app would otherwise be absolutely perfect for us - to be able to search through the stored artwork visually - except that it only picks up JPGs, PNGs and such, not the PDF format we mostly use.

This would be also interesting when sharing galleries to anonymous users… as even when switching back to file view the anonymous user can only download and now view .pdf or text files. I like to share galleries, but would like to add a few text explanations to it that are easily viewable by persons viewing the gallery.
