Some or all of the below information will be requested if it isn’t supplied; for fastest response please provide as much as you can

Nextcloud version (eg, 20.0.5): Nextcloud PI 1.53.0
Operating system and version (eg, Ubuntu 20.04): Linux nextcloudpi 5.15.61-v8+
Apache or nginx version (eg, Apache 2.4.25): dont know
PHP version (eg, 7.4): dont know

The issue you are facing:
After a fresh installation I wanted to create a backup of the system. Went in as ncp and backups-create backup
Once it worked, no other time
The other times I create apply and the spinning wheel does not come back, even after an hour
same behavior to configure automatic backups and to restore previously backuped NC instance. Refresh of the page does not help, system seems to be unresponsive. Can still log in via ssh and reboot.
Have done this several time. No help.
Installed ncpi again, went through the wizard again, did the ssh and autorecognizing external disks, went back to the Backup section, wanted to create a backup, spinning wheel. it states path exists.
No clue how to proceed

Is this the first time you’ve seen this error? (Y/N):y

Steps to replicate it:

  1. Burn nextcloudpi 1.53.0 to sd card
  2. put into pi and boot
  3. go through wizard, dont use external disk and no external access
  4. login as ncp admin and setup ssh
  5. setup external autorecognition of disks and use one as backup.
  6. Go to Backup and create new backup
