Files in directories not visible with nextcloud

I create a samba share with nextcloudPI in order to enable my camera to store its files inside a directory created with newtcloud, so I can view the videofiles on my smartphone or by web browser. It was OK on 15 nextcloud version.

Recently I update to version 16 of nextcloud and all the files (or video files) that I move by samba in the different directories shared on nextcloud are not visible with nextcloud, only visible with samba mount on my windows PC with the files explorer.

I try to look around the files I copied, but it seems all is OK !!!
Any help ?

I would

  • check permissions on the files and folders in the samba mount
  • remount in nextcloud (I assume it’s an “external” mount)
  • do a round of files:scan
  • if you’re directly accessing a folder within nextcloud data directory as samba share, then consider running files:scan as a crown job
