File search do not includes tags

Sorry to ask that, but I can’t get the search bar to search for tags.
:point_right: Tags filtering in left pane of file app works though.

This feature as been added to Nextcloud 25 according to this PR

When I type anything in the search, I get results sorted in categories (files, calendar events, comments, message etc.) but there is no category “tags”, nor results if I search for a specific tag.

Is there any particular thing to configure (like in config.php, or admin panel ?)
I do not have setup any full text search app.

Unfortunately I cannot replicate the described issue on my server with NC 27.1.1.0. It works perfectly well and out-of-the-box.

lol it took me time to notice this was even a bug. I thought it was not implemented yet.

I think my config.php file may be the issue cause the rest of my installation is pretty straight forward. I wrote the config file when nextcloud was at version 21, I will post the solution here if I find something.

I feel kinda stupid. I do not use manual tag, only those put by recongnize v3.
If I manually tag files, they appear in the tag search. Now, why don’t recognize tags don’t appear might be another issue :wink:

Ok, I don’t know why, but tags do show up in search bar… but they are case sensitive.
If I type “electronics” I get nothing, if I type “Electronics” I have results with “Electronics” tagged files.
I don’t know if it’s the expected behaviour, but I find it kinda odd.
