Is this new in NC28.0.10?
Could be good for a bug report, not sure if the main repo github.com/nextcloud/server/issues is best suited or the office one…
Thank you for your advice.I will report as issue.
Yes, this is in NC28.0.10.
But show file name in NC29.0.7.
Now I am testing on Nc28.0.10 and NC29.0.7 same COOLWSD Version.
When I create file with deleted same file name, I can create file without validation.
Could you check the below video?
[Check Video…](Dropbox)
I think that is a bug…
But there is no problem above case in NC26 and NC27.1.11.
Yes, for some reason if you create a file with the same name as the previously deleted file(s), the new file is multiplied by the number of deleted versions until you refresh the page or delete the old versions from the recycle bin. More of a cosmetic issue, but perhaps worth a bug report anyway.
Addition:
It doesn’t seem to be related to CODE at all, because it also happens with Nextcloud Text / Markdown files. And yes, again, it also happens on Nextcloud 30.
Thank you for your advice .
First of all , I also think that the cause is COOLWSD.
Actually I tested with other COOLWSD version: 24.04.5.2 in NC28 and NC29.
But have same problem.
But there is same problem when I create the text file(.md) with same file name
after delete.
I will report you after test on NC30
Yes, I was a bit hasty with all my posts and didn’t really double-check everything. I’ve cleaned up the thread a bit to make it easier for others to read.
Conclusion:
It is definitely a Nextcloud issue and not a CODE issue, as it also happens with Nextcloud Text / Markdown files, and it also happens in Nextcloud 30.
Sorry if I have caused confusion and unnecessary effort to test different CODE versions on your end.
