Summary of the issue you are facing:

For some time, the Nextcloud desktop sync client on my Fedora laptop has failed to sync with a client error: “The Server Accepts Strict Transport Security and Does not Accept Untrusted Certificates”.

The Server log entry records:

The configuration of the Laptop has not changed. The sync on my Android phone still connects. I can navigate to the Nextcloud web UI from 0.0.0.20 with no challenge

I have a local DNS (free IPA) that manages ldap lookup

Steps to replicate it (hint: details matter!):

Start my fedora 43 laptop
log in and start a session
Nextcloud Client remain grey
