Many tools handling files use so called .ignore files to configure what files shall be ignored and skipped. .gitignore comes to mind. The file contains glob patterns that, if matched, tell the tool to ignore the files and folders that match any of the given patterns.
I would like Nextcloud to have such a feature too. It could be the generic .ignore or a dedicated .ncignore, .occignore, .nextcloudignore, something along those lines.
Would that be thinkable?
