I like NextCloud! It works really well.
Here’s an idea for a new feature, that I implemented in a different filesharing app many years ago:
Limit max link download count per file.
This could help to prevent misusage of the NextCloud service.
In many use cases a shared file will never have to be downloaded more than 10 to 100 times.
Or in other words: How can I prevent that a user shares a file in the wrong social channel and it 1000s of users will try to download this file?
This could work similar to the ‘Retention’ app. Auto-add tags by rules and limit download count/rate per tag.
