Unfortunately we are currently still using version 28.0.14
I wanted to update it.
However, the following problem has arisen:
We use an LDAP/AD connection for user administration, as well as the External Storage app with an integrated SMB share.
This is set so that the login data is taken from the user and an ACL check is made when the data is called up to hide folders to which one is not authorized.
After updating to the latest version 29.x, the external storage app will be upgraded to version 1.21.0. I have 2 problems with this version:
- The ACL check does not work properly or in the first folder level all folders are displayed only after that the ACL check apparently takes effect. However, this is not intended and should not be the case according to our guidelines. Each user may only see what he is allowed to see according to his authorizations.
- a password must now be entered in the config, this was not the case until now. presumably this problem is also related to the ACL check. this appears under the ACL check tick.
I couldn’t find anything about this on the internet, at least not what I was looking for 
Maybe someone can help me further.

Currently I have set the version back to 28.0.14 so that we stay compliant with our guidelines.
