I installed the “external storage” app, it was working very well but for some time now (I haven’t noticed since when) the access to my sftp server doesn’t work anymore.
It says “Login Failed” to me while the identifiers are correct, the access test on a PC works.
Are you aware of a bug on this app?

I am running into this issue and wonder whether you were ever able to find a solution to the problem.
I’m certain, the server hosting the external storage blacklisted the server running the nextcloud instance. Maybe this due to too many requests being fired while indexing the external storage. I have no way to change this on the foreign server, however, I can imagine, that you can modify the nextcloud side to limit the requests per interval.
Any solutions? Ideas?
