External Portal - but how to add Links

i have installed the
External Portal APP

but can’t find out how a user is able to define/add the external links??

I’m not using the app but based on the provided information it relies on the External Sites app:

so it is not usefull for me !
is there another way to add some link to other Homepage/Server?

…and you might also want to check out Bookmarks which in combination with Floccus can even synchronize your browser bookmarks
