Hi,
I am currently running my private nextcloud server on a raspberry pi 4 (os Linux 5.10.17-v7l+ armv7l)
The files are stored on a micro SD - the OS is also running on this micro SD.
I got a new external HDD and I wanna change the default saveing place to this HDD.
Maybe you can help me out with what I have to do.
thank you

Hi, you need to change the directory in the nc settings, ive done it on a rasberry and it works,
at my system it was at /var/www/nextcloud/config/config.php
‘datadirectory’ => ‘/mnt/raid/nextcloud_data’,
Kind Regards
Moritz

But if you have a running installation and want to keep the data you need to make shure to copy the existing folder to the new direction.
