Experiences with large filesizes?

Hi,
has anyone experience with configuration for up and download for large filesizes - like 50, 100, 200G per file? Can it work? What are the problems?
Thanxs

People usually have difficulties if they cannot configure their webservers to allow large file uploads:
https://docs.nextcloud.com/server/stable/admin_manual/configuration_files/big_file_upload_configuration.html

Often these are rather Gigabytes of data. In your range, you might benefit from the client using chunked up- and downloads.

If your main focus is performance, syncthing might be an interesting alternative.

Thanks - i am very able to configure my servers - the question was if anybody made bad , unexpexted (sig!) experiences configuring and using very large filesizes in Nextcloud.
I am talking about direct downloads over the webinterface. We want to use Nextcloud as a file exchange in international scientific work environment - that means every device hat 10G+ connection and large high performant drivesystems in the back.
But obviously this here is the wrong place to ask such questions.

Nextcloud is used in the scientific community, however many institutions have an enterprise subscription, so you won’t find them here on the community forum. In case you know some of them, you might be able to reach out and ask them directly.

Most users here probably don’t share such large files. But you never know…
