Nextcloud version (eg, 20.0.5): version: 29.0.0.19
Operating system and version (eg, Ubuntu 20.04): Debian / DietPi v9.4.2

The issue you are facing:

I would like to run the command “ncc recognize:classify” in the background. If I now run it and close the terminal the command ends.

I ended up trying “nohup ncc recognize:classify > output.log 2>&1 &”
what ended up in

nohup: ignoring input

nohup: failed to run command ‘ncc’: No such file or directory

Try the screen command, it allows to create terminal sessions that don’t close when you leave the ssh session.
