Example of using security option app password

In the web browser interface, in the Security section, is the option to create an app password. See attached image.

While this is mentioned in the documents, there is no example or detailed instructions for its proper use.

What are the steps to create an app password in the web browser and configure the desktop client to use it?

hi,
if u use 2FA on your instance
username and password wont work (if you force 2FA on your whole instance) for your app
therefore you need to create an app-name
eg device-app → samsungS23-nc-talk (password)
the username is still the same… the password is not use the app password
so increase of security
