[Seems EasyMDE is being skipped in favor of the Tiptap engine that has just been released for Nextcloud Text app](https://github.com/nextcloud/text/issues/6). Note that [Tiptap is a stateless rich text editor](https://tiptap.scrumpy.io/) that could also support html and json in addition to Markdown, [meaning it might play nice with the Carnet Notes app and others](https://github.com/nextcloud/text/issues/128). [Preliminary Qownnotes support has already begun](https://github.com/nextcloud/text/issues/127).
