Hi Folks,
thanks for reading this, I found some older topics with the same issue but they got resolved through waiting (didnt help) or not at all, so I am starting again. First, Im very very new to all this, so if i did a rookie mistake, my appolgies
Im getting the following error when I put in my domain while setting up my nextcloud AIO on a Debian system:
“DNS config is not set for this domain or the domain is not a valid domain! (It was found to be set to ”)”
my sub-Domain is from freedns:
the ip that it forwards to fits to my public ip4, i used wget to update it regularly, but since it fits atm this should be of relevance, i guess.
I forwarded ports 443 and 80 (TCP and UDP for god messure) to my local machine. I also added exception in ufw for 443, 80 and 22. and i also forwarded port 22 btw, for ssh access, just to be complete.
anyone has any idea what i did wrong or what is missing? do i need to do something else in the subdomain? obviously i use nextcloud.subdomain.mooo.com in the config ui of the setup.
@edit: the not-yet-server sits behind a Speedport 4 (i think, not sure abt. the exact model).
thanks a lot, im pretty lost.
