Error creating the share Nextcloud 18.0.4

Hello everyone,

I hope someone can help me.
I have updated Nextcloud to 18.0.4 on my Raspian, hoping that the update could solve the problem I had from 18.0.3 but I always have the following message:

Error creating the share

With both versions, 18.0.3 and 18.0.4, it seems that the sharing works fine only if I disable the option “Settings > Administration > Sharing > Enforce Password Protection”.

I have not any log entries in the frontend or backend files, so I cannot give you more details. Obviously, if you can drive me in enabling debug flag, I would provide you any further information useful for investigation.

The email server is already configured and works fine.

In my case I’ve got this error no matter what I disable or deinstall (plugins). I got it working again after I reenabled this “Enforce Password Protection” just because I had configured folders to work with that feature, but could not remember it anymore. Yeh yeh, no pain no gain.
