Just a general question regarding encryption. I have setup nextcloud on an openSuSE (Leap) server and it seems to be running ok so far. Now regarding encryption, I have defined a directory and a group for each customer project. The directory is shared with the corresponding group. Plan is to inivite external customer employees to each group as the need arises.
Will this work with encryption?
i.e. if a directory contents have been encrypted for a while and a new member is invited into the group, will he/she see everything straight away or do I for instance have to unshare/reshare everytime a new member is added to the group?
Thanks for any advice. I have run through the on-line help but don’t really find a conclusive answer.
Encryption probably isn’t essential for me since everything is stored on the server, but some customers might request it.
