Enabling WebDAV and connecting to Cloudbeates

Hi

I installed NextCloud Hub 9 (30.0.4) on a VPS a few days ago and have been working on fine tuning it since.

I have now reached the part where I want to be able to connect Cloudbeats to my Nextcloud and thought it would be a simple thing. Unfortunately not. I tried using just the regular URL to my Nextcloud installation as well as my user and pass. But that did not work.

I now understand that I have to connect using WebDAV and I can’t find instructions on how to get that up and running. Can someone point me in the right direction? Please remember I am an absolute beginner when it comes to linux and various SSH commands.

Thanks in advance!

Please have look in the User Manual:

https://docs.nextcloud.com/server/latest/user_manual/en/files/access_webdav.html#accessing-nextcloud-files-using-webdav

Hello,
Thanks for the link. I had already seen that guide but it did not help unfortunately. I don’t have a folder /remote.php/dav/files/ and I can’t figure out how to get the folders/files installed.

The URL “.../remote.php/dav/files/” points to the root folder of your Nextcloud user. Physically you will find the Nextcloud data directory on your harddisk at the following location: “<nc-data-directory>/<user>/files

If your talking about the android app cloudbeats It has a build in connection to nextcloud you can simply use your login and password or if you use 2fa create a app password for it. You should not fill in the webdav url as the app already knows it. Just the main domain according to your settings starting with http:// or https:// cloud.domain.tld. i suggest using https if your using it over the internet
