Enable show password when sharing link?

Nextcloud version (eg, 10.0.2): 11.0.3
Operating system and version (eg, Ubuntu 16.04): Ubuntu 16.04
Apache or nginx version (eg, Apache 2.4.25): Apache 2.4.18
PHP version (eg, 5.6): 7.0.22

The issue you are facing:

The dialog box to enter a password for sharing a public link shows only dots when entering the password, but there is no confirmation, or second box to re-enter the password to verify they match.

This means that if the user flubs the password they have no idea and no way of knowing until someone tries to use it and fails.

Is there a way to get the dialog box to show the entered password?
Is there a way to reset a password if it has been entered incorrectly?

I have searched the user and admin documentation and have been unable to find anything related to this.

You would have to delete the public link and recreate it with the correct password. Recommend to always test it before telling the password to an anonymous user.
