We are running the nextcloud 18.x template vm from nextcloud.it seems our Activity notification emails are not working…cron job is active too.
have you setup your so-called email-server correctly?
yes it is…and the Test email sent successfully too.
so well… it better should be running… 
or maybe you wanna give out some more information about your server, environment, logs, etc
