Elasticsearch Index Schedule Question

Good Day,

To All,

Question for the Elasticsearch i followed the instruction at the documentation how to install the elasticsearch and its working now,

My question is its elasticsearch have own or default schedule to re index or I need to setup a cron for that?

*NC17.1
*Ubuntu 18.04

The fulltextsearch indexer should be invoked with the cron.php job, if you’ve switched your background jobs to cron in the NC settings.

5min cron settings is recommended? any suggestion Sir? how about every 30min?

cant find any docu what are the exact benefits to NC to run cron every 5min
