each users data is stored in

NEXTCLOUD-DATA-DIR/{USERNAME}

a default installation example in /var/www would have a data directory in /var/www/nextcloud/data
a user created with username ‘Example-01’ would have it’s files stored in
/var/www/nextcloud/data/Example-01/files/
