Duplicate passwords

Hi - maybe I am missing something but I do not see what is happening.

If I go to my Nextcloud installation, then to Passwords, then Security, then Weak, I get a list of password entries with yellow icons.

Hover over the icon and it says the password is a duplicate. But if I check each one, no two passwords are the same.

If I have a password entry that is a duplicate, how do I find the other entry with the same password?

  • Go to the “All”-passwords section. Then search for password:theactualpassword.
  • Check the trash. Passwords there are relevant for the duplicate status, but not shown in the “All” section.
  • The duplicate status is updated once a day. If you delete a duplicate, it might take some time until the other password is no longer marked as duplicate.

I have the same issue. I have searched in “All” and in “Trash” and have only found one password, the one marked as duplicated.
I haven’t found much information about this in the documentation, so any help is appreciated. Thanks!
