I have successfully connected dropbox to nextcloud, but it didn’t look like nextcloud automatically synchronised when files in dropbox were changed.
Is it supposed to do that?

What exactly does this mean? Please clarify exact steps taken according to the actual documentation steps, including if you used external storage, etc.

I think you misunderstood the function of the Dropbox integration app. As stated it the description field of the app store record, its purpose is only to “… automatically import your Dropbox files into Nextcloud”.

Exactly, that was the reason for my question. That wording could be understood as meaning that there is a permanent automated synchronisation (which would be great to have of course!).
