Does the Nextcloud iOS/iPadOS client do full bidirectional sync of a folder I mark as available offline? I know the Android client still has some issues.
I’m trying to use Nextcloud to sync my Obsidian data, and I’m thinking of making a Siri shortcut that woud launch the Nexcloud client, pause for 10 seconds to allow it to sync my Obsidian directory, and then launch Obsidian.
I see that option in the app. But I haven’t used it to tell you what works and what doesn’t.
If apps want to store data, I’d prefer that they communicate directly via webdav, or a different API.
I just know for picture sync, if you want to upload them in the background, you need to enable the location services for Nextcloud so it can trigger that upload.
