Getting help

In order to help you as efficiently (and quickly!) as possible, please fill in as much of the below requested information as you can.

Before clicking submit: Please check if your query is already addressed via the following resources:

(Utilizing these existing resources is typically faster. It also helps reduce the load on our generous volunteers while elevating the signal to noise ratio of the forums otherwise arising from the same queries being posted repeatedly).

Some or all of the below information will be requested if it isn’t supplied; for fastest response please provide as much as you can.

The Basics

  • Nextcloud Server version (e.g., 29.x.x):
    • 12.4.0
  • Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 24.04):
    • Windows Server - Docker Desktop
  • Web server and version (e.g, Apache 2.4.25):
    • No idea, inside the install script
  • Reverse proxy and version _(e.g. nginx 1.27.2)
    • Cloudflare tunnel
  • PHP version (e.g, 8.3):
    • No idea, inside the install script
  • Is this the first time you’ve seen this error? (Yes / No):
    • Yes
  • When did this problem seem to first start?
    • While installing it via the official script
  • Installation method (e.g. AlO, NCP, Bare Metal/Archive, etc.)
    • Docker
  • Are you using CloudfIare, mod_security, or similar? (Yes / No)
    • Cloudflare, but only the tunnel without any blocking signin methods.

Summary of the issue you are facing:

[…]

Steps to replicate it (hint: details matter!):

  1. Install the app via this script (added the skip validation because i use cludflaretunnel)

docker run --init
–sig-proxy=false --name nextcloud-aio-mastercontainer
–restart always -p 80:80
-p 8080:8080 -p 8443:8443
-p 11000:11000 -e APACHE_PORT=11000
-e SKIP_DOMAIN_VALIDATION=true -v nextcloud_aio_mastercontainer:/mnt/docker-aio-config
-v //var/run/docker.sock:/var/run/docker.sock:ro `

ghcr.io/nextcloud-releases/all-in-one:latest

  1. Once installed i follow all steps after i skip the domain validation.
  2. I go to the url that points to the 8080 adres, and i see this, and nothing changes no matter how long i wait or if i restart the whole stack in Docker.

Log entries

Nextcloud

Please provide the log entries from your Nextcloud log that are generated during the time of problem (via the Copy raw option from Administration settings->Logging screen or from your nextcloud.log located in your data directory). Feel free to use a pastebin/gist service if necessary.

Not possible

Web Browser

If the problem is related to the Web interface, open your browser inspector Console and Network tabs while refreshing (reloading) and reproducing the problem. Provide any relevant output/errors here that appear.

Chrome

Web server / Reverse Proxy

The output of your Apache/nginx/system log in /var/log/____:

Apache

Configuration

Nextcloud

The output of occ config:list system or similar is best, but, if not possible, the contents of your config.php file from /path/to/nextcloud is fine (make sure to remove any identifiable information!):

NoneApps

The output of occ app:list (if possible).

  • Adding: I have lso tried to point the tunnel to port 1100 instead of 8080, but that breaks it and the page will not show. What is the issue here? Why do those containers stay stuck on Starting?

Hi, can you post the output of sudo docker logs nextcloud-aio-nextcloud here?

Here is the log:

I fear I cannot open the link

Hm… Can you run docker restart nextcloud-aio-nextcloud ?

Did that, but it did not help. Did completely close docker desktop and started it again, still the same issue.

Hm… Can you post the output of sudo docker logs nextcloud-aio-apache here?

I think ill give up and use the Proxmox vm instead.
