Used in what way? There is no nc app for hosting a forum yet.
Discourse, this forum software, can interface with Nextcloud in some ways. Check their documentation.

Thanks for the reply. For me, it is just a simple forums for our group to discuss our projects.
I looked at discourse, and I’ll have to look at it. A built in forums would make it as simple as install via the app store, configure and run.
