I realize there are other topics about this, but just for emphasis, I’m starting another. I didn’t see a link to where to officially report client bugs in the manual. A link to the change log is missing from the client too.
The desktop client auto-update both starts the update and forces a restart without giving the user any option to delay or back out. The user should receive a notification about the update that includes the option to install later, and there should also be a warning that the computer will be abruptly restarted.
This is causing problems for the user, and it’s critical that it be fixed. I was trying to deal with an IT emergency situation earlier and got all my open programs closed and kicked off my laptop by this update process.
