Usually i update apps and upgrade nextcloud via command line, because updating via webgui fails every time. Sometimes, when upgrading Nextcloud to a newer version, some apps are incompatible with the new version. Unfortunately, i dont see a list of such apps, before upgrading via cli. Is there some script to check the app compatibility before a upgrade?
There has been a feature on the admin page showing you that a new version is available, and if some apps were missing it was telling you. I’m currently on an fully updated version, so I cannot check.
Usually the most common apps are updated pretty quickly, these are more often the same candidates, so you could check manually, e.g. for NC 33:
This is the preferred method, if you can do that, I would not even consider the web updater. The web processes are often resource limited and fail more easily.
