Disappearing External Shares

Quick one this: I’ve mounted external shares into NextCloud 22 from a CIFS share inside Docker - all ‘green’ and working correctly. When I subsequently share folders to users so that they have an ‘external share’ (not on the Docker container’s associated data/config volume but on the dedicated CIFS share for user files only) they regularly and repeatable disappear after approximately 3 days. Without fail.

I’ve removed time expiring shares settings - but no success. How can I troubleshoot this please?
