I just installed nextcloud on my vps, everything goes fine.
I have a question for you. i really would that www.myomain.com/nextcloud point to a specific shared folder (with pubblic link) and maybe use another page/way/link to login.
Is it possible?
Nexcloud uses Rewrite with .htaccess . But you can use a rewrite or php redirect outside nextcloud to a nextcloud share. If /nextcloud is part of normal virtual host (not nextcloud) it would work with redirect to nextcloud on other position outside /nextcloud.
But why? It makes no sense. Host nextcloud on /nextcloud and use e.g. /next or /cloud for redirect to public share.
