Directory unavailable after upgrade to 14.0.1

I upgraded from 14.0.0 to 14.0.1 using “occ upgrade” method. This process ended without any problem.

Following the upgrade, all non-admin users had problem with displaying file home screen. NC gives “Unavailable directory…” error message at the top of the screen.

Long story short, I found the culprit: Enabling “File sharing” in the settings causes this problem.

As I couldn’t solve the issue, I had to revert back to NC 14.0.0.

Here are my details:

Nextcloud version 14.0.1
Operating system: Docker based on Alpine 3.8.1
Nginx version 1.14.0
PHP version 7.2.10

Steps to replicate it:

  1. Upgrade to 14.0.1 manually
  2. Enable “File sharing app”

There is no any error pertaining to this problem in the logs.

I would disable the app and enable it again.

That worked for me with some apps after upgrading to NC14.
