i’m wondering why directory listing is not not denied in nextcloud 10 in my installation.
if i enter https://my-nextcloud-server/app/files i’m not redirected to the web gui, but i am able to access all files from the installation.

It shouldn’t be possible. Are you sure you allow .htaccess-files to modify this setting (AllowOverride All) or do it yourself properly?
my fault.
before i was runing owncloud on the server. the folder name was www/owncloud.
i installed nextcloud parallel into a folder www/nextcloud.
then i change owncloud to nextcloud nearly everywhere in the apache-ssl conf file. except within the statment.
