It seems that desktop client takes ages to sync on shared folders when folder is owned by another user (shared with a circle)
- I’ve two machines with desktop client. Both with same user (userA).
- There’s a shared folder owned by userB.
- I create a file (or modify an existing one) in Computer A, in shared folder. Changes can be observed immediately on web interface by every user.
- However, desktop client on computerB (managed by userA) can take up to 15-20 minutes to receive changes. No matter i press 100 times “sync now” button. I get the message. “All synced”
Cronjob runs every 5 minutes. No differences if I run it more frequently.
I suspect that this is related to some “update shares” task that runs not every cron but after some time. Is there any way to force that “update share” task ? I’m missing something in configuration that could help me?
As we use intensively shared folder for teams, 15-20 minutes max time to receive a change is simply unacceptable.
