Desktop client broke after update 3.14.0

Today I updated the desktop client and after that it started to have bugs and the ‘edit locally’ function no longer works. Does anyone know how to downgrade the desktop client update?

This is the version:

Same problem here. Funny enought, também sou Tuga… Client panels all broken, and troubles syncing. It does Sync but hangs for minutes before syncing. Use Nextcloud AIO, Client same version 3.14.0.

I’m brazilian hahahah

I got the client to get it working for now until they fix it

You uninstalled the new version and installed the old one? Or directly the old one?

In 3.14.1 they fixed a few of the issues, for me it seems to be working so far.

My opinion: 3.14.X should have not been released. It has many regression bugs that make impossible to use the software (Win10 and Win11 and 2 different servers). I tested 3.14.0 and 3.14.1.

Just use 3.13.X (latest is 3.13.4) and wait positive reviews for 3.14.X.
Actually because of this counter-productive release I am considering to only test/use the final version of the last but one series. Nextcloud Desktop devs just showed they don’t care enough about testing.

Same here. v3.14 a) broke syncing 99% and b) showed wrong colors on top panel here on Win 10 64bit.
I wasted some hours checking my server until I finally understood the problem is the client update to 3.14.
Uninstalled 3.14 and reinstalled 3.13.4 Now everything works great again.
I’ll go 3.14 once 3.15 is out after this mess.

They even have issues to address better testing:

(don’t hesitate to give it a thumbs up)

It’s a bit worrying that there are so many bugs that seem to be easily visible on the spot.

I uninstalled the version with the problem and used an old installer that was saved on my computer. I recently tested the latest version and it still has problems, nothing resolved!! This is complicated, I have nextcloud in production for more than 15 users, developers cannot do this. Furthermore, I disabled the automatic update of the desktop client, but every time I restart the computer it keeps asking to update and sometimes it updates itself.
